BASIC ABOUT THE ROBOTICS

FIRST OF ALL, THERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS ON WHICH WE HAVE TO FOCUS -:

2.WHAT IS  AUTOMATION?

3.WHAT IS THE NEED OF ROBOT?

LET US DISCUSS ONE BY ONE -:

1.WHAT IS ROBOTICS?

 
 robotics is the combination of the intelligence and dynamics or programming  which give us the desired automation .it consist of mechanical ,electronic,and computer science engineering.robotics is the main branch of mechanical, electronics, computer science in which we discuss about the robot design, how to control a robot .how to program a robot to perform a specific task.how we can use a robot in industrial engineering.what is the use of the robot in the different field.this new technology is also used to avoid the human hazards.so now a day it became an essential part of human life.  
 
 

AUTOMATION -: 

it is the word which is related to the automatic controlling system.
Nowadays automation becomes more reliable controlling system .it something which is related to the use of computers to process a desired specific task.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF AUTOMATION-:

HARD AUTOMATION:

This type of automation is also known as fixed automation .conventional machinery packaging, sewing machine, manufacturing a small product, washing machine, iron, etc.this type of automation can not handle for product design variations .this is mainly use for mass production.this type of automation low in cost.but they can do only single task .they can not be used for different-different task.they does not dependent upon the programming.it has a disadvantage due to the inflexibility of the automation system and also high initial investment.
 

programmable automation:

this type of automation is also known as variable automation. these type of automation basically depend upon the computer programming.programming is the type of instruction or algorithm which is used to control the automation system .it may use for a different task.a new algorithm which is applied on the control automation system may change in the functioning of the automation.
EXAMPLES: 
ATM(automatic teller machine),programmable logic control,industrial robot 
 

FLEXIBLE AUTOMATION:

this type of automation is also known as the soft automation.in this type of automation changing of the parts may occur without loosing time.so it is more flexible.there is no loss of production during the re-programming of the automation system.
 

EXAMPLE :

the robotic arm  which can do different-2 tasks when programmed with the different-2 algorithm 
 
 

3.WHAT IS THE NEED OF ROBOT?

the robot is the combination of the control system, sensors, actuators etc.
so we can say that intelligence of a robot is depended on its subsystems which allow the robot to perform a specific task.
it is more useful because it reduces the inefficiency of a product.it also increase the reliability of a product because, during the production of any product, a robot inspect the errors easily rather than a human.robot can also be installed when there is danger during the production.it also reduces the time period of production.it also decrease the labour cost during the the production.
