Before starting, Let me tell you a little bit about DMCA.
DMCA (Digital Millenium copyright act) is a service which provides security protection to online content. For further information, you can check official website here – DMCA.com
I took these Steps to file DMCA request with Google.
#1. Find out the copycats on the web
First of all, check who is copying your content. Let’s see how I find mine.
(Note: All the copyrighted posts have been removed from the search. So, I am unable to show you the screenshot of that URL’s position on Google search. Because I have already filed DMCA notice against that URL. Therefore it has removed from search result)
Let me tell you a short story of mine. So that you can easily relate.
Back in days, I was searching on the web to check my website visibility.
Suddenly, I found a blog post named “ How to point a domain name to a website hosted elsewhere.” When I switched to that post, I found 100% plagiarism of mine.
The owner of that blog had not even changed the title and URL. After checking all other posts I found the same thing. He had copied 55 posts from my blog directly without making any changes. That day I feel how people are always ready to steal other’s work.
Now it’s time to file a DMCA request with Google. Open this form and select any product which is related to your query.
If you own a Blogspot blog then select the first option, but if WordPress then select the ‘web search’ option.
I am assuming that you have a WordPress blog.
After switching to this option, you will see following sub-categories shown below.
click on the last option.
Finally, you see following options, just go ahead and select the option which asks about copyright violation.
As you tick earlier option you will receive a notice which asks about copyright ownership.
Just click on the first option which ensures that you are the owner of your work.
Next, Google asks you to select your content types whether it is video, images or text (other).
By clicking on ‘other (text type content )’ you will get your DMCA content removal from. But remember read the notice carefully.
There are two options one is for Youtube legal copyright issue and another is as per your request.
#3. Fill out essentials
Finally, you get a form. Here you need to provide all the details regarding your request. Now, let me tell you how you can fill out this form.

As you know that I have 55 copyrighted issues. Now, Let me show you how you can ensure that your DMCA request has been approved.
This is my DMCA dashboard. here you can see that all URLs have been approved.
Finally, I want to say that today’s internet world is not so protected. If you want to survive you need to take care of all the hazardous facts that can make your business shut down.
